Windsurfing
Challenge and technique

Like kitesurfing, windsurfing is also widely practiced on the coast of Flecheiras and neighboring beaches such as Mundaú and Guajiru. The strength of the trade winds, which blow regularly throughout much of the year, creates perfect conditions for those who want to try this sport that combines control of the board with the skill of maneuvering the sail.
Winds and sea
The wind conditions in Flecheiras are ideal for windsurfing. Crosswinds of 15 to 25 knots are constant, offering good speed and sail control. The beach also has a variety of waters, from calmer areas close to the coast to more distant regions, where the waves are more challenging, favoring different levels of surfers.

Schools and infrastructure
The Flecheiras region has a complete structure to welcome kitesurfers and windsurfers. In addition to schools, the region has specialized inns and stores with equipment for sale and rental.
